Meet Max who is a 1 year old DNA male Scarlet Macaw. He is still in training and improving every day. He knows step up, loves bath time in the sink, is learning new words all the time, and is practicing staying on his T stand while Mommy gets her work done. He is still shy and does take some time to warm up to strangers. He is used to the every day going ons of a family, is healthy, in perfect feather, wings and nails are clipped (but still flies like a pro). He loves wood toys, fresh fruits and veggies, most anything Mommy cooks, head rubs and under the wing rubs. As much as he loves his baths in the kitchen sink he is very afraid still of the big shower...loves the kitchen sprayer hose and will climb up on the sink to insist on a bath every chance he gets.
